Keep 'em Flying

NZ Warbirds Association at Ardmore is a charitable not-for-profit organisation which hosts an unique collection of both WW1 and WW2 fully flying heritage aircraft housed over two large hangars.  Its an incredible display along with historical diorama's displaying New Zealands aviation squadrons participation across the theatres of WW2; Europe and the Pacific.

Ths stunning collection is open to the public to view on selected days of the week, and at this moment in time with Covid Level restrictions we aiming to open again later in May 2020 on Saturdays and Sundays.  We open with the sole help of fabulous Volunteers, and so we must keep them safe.

Want to experience an exciting adventure flight - we have a range of stunning aircraft available to take the flight of your dreams; Spitfire, Mustang, Kittyhawk and Harvard's through to the open cockpits of the Stearman and Tiger Moth and an ex airforce trainer Airtourer - flights range from scenic flights right through to aerobatics and everything in between.  We can fly any day of the week and we sell gift vouchers as a gift for that special occasion.  Go on you know you want to, give us a call.

NZ Warbirds at Ardmore has a merchandise shop with a great selection of clothing, toys, books and memorabilia which opens the same days as our hangar collection.
