Our cultural diverse area offers a wide variety of different food restaurants, cafes and takeaways.

We are fortunate to have a variety of cafes and restaurants through the region.  Pakuranga Plaza has Porterhouse Grill, Half Moon Bay has Grangers, and for a Mexican slant Marina Cantina. Eastern Beach has Gorkha, and Bucklands Beach has In Bucklands Beach has Zabr’one and Bucks Bistro; Howick Village has many to choose from including The Apothecary, Daisy ChangThe Good HomeBasalt, The Corner, Rombus and Indian Kitchen

Botany Town Centre has Goode Brothers, and nearby on Botany Road is the historic Hawthorn Dene Country Café which is hidden away off the main road and a breath of country air in suburbia.  Ormiston Town Centre has Mogly, and the Ormiston CaféForeshore Indian Restaurant and Bar is in Burswood, and 9 Bowls Eatery, The Brook, and Fisher House are all in East Tamaki.  The Stables in Whitford is a regular meeting place for locals, and Whitford Merchants right next door has a great array of food products and unusual alcohol which are great for a special occasion or gift. Relaxing at Pepperjacks enjoying stunning views across the marina, and the amazing Rydges Formosa Golf Resort both at Pine Harbour. The Franklin and Ambrosia are both in Beachlands.   Head out towards Clevedon you go through Maraetai where you will find Foreshore Indian Restaurant and Bar,  and in Clevedon you can visit the Hallertau Pub and its craft brewery.  Further out towards Hunua in Clevedon District is Vin Alto.

The Howick Village Market on a Saturday morning, and the Clevedon Farmers Market on a Sunday morning offer fresh, locally produced food and products.  Local night markets at Botany and Pakuranga, Gooch Place in Meadowlands and China Town on Ti Rakau serve a diverse range of food reflecting a wide range of ethnicities that enrich our region

Plenty to keep the hunger pangs at bay.
