This East Coast coastal farm park has walks and cycle tracks.
Nestled in the Firth of Thames area with beaches edged with Pohutakawas. There are plenty of places to set up a picnic spot.
Featured walks vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours. These take you to beaches, through fields where cows or sheep may graze, to the Tapapakanga stream and Maori historic areas.
Intermediate mountain bike tracks are also found here.
There are lovely spots to launch your kayak at high tide, or just enjoy a restful swim.
A great place to visit even if you only have 2 hours to spend here – better if you have longer. Its another fantastic place in East Auckland.
Our Tip:
You can camp here providing you have booked and follow the required regulations. Site for the annual Splore Festival. Historic site.
Along the way : Clevedon Village Farmers Market operates on a Sunday morning. Clevedon Creatives displays a wide range of different artworks and products all made locally. Great for gifts. Stop at Clevedon Oysters for a great roadside snack.
