The Polish Museum has two linked exhibitions running alongside our ‘Theatre of War’ (part of Auckland Festival of Photography) exhibition in June. 

POW 2Lt. Henryk Kolodynski sent surprising postcards of camp life from the German prison for Polish Officers, Oflag VIIA Murnau in Bavaria, to his family deported from Poland by the Russians. The family was eventually reunited in New Zealand.

On from 2-12 June at Polish Heritage Trust Museum, 125 Elliot St, Howick, Tue-Fri 10am-4pm & Sun 12-5pm. Museum entry is by donation. Small groups by prior arrangement (fee applies).
