Hunted by the Germans during World War 2, spymaster Ron Jeffery was referred to by the Gestapo as ‘one of the foxiest devils in Europe’. Jeffery, born of a Kiwi father and English mother outwitted and escaped enemy opposition, helped by the Polish Resistance. Learn more in the exhibition about this highly decorated soldier-spy of the Polish Underground who migrated to Auckland after the war.

Museum entry by donation. Sunday 27 September to Sunday 11 October 2020. Hours Tue-Fri 10am - 4pm & Sun 12-5pm.
