‘Greener Horizons’. Part of Auckland Festival of Photography 2025: Sustain.

As a member of the EU, Poland is working towards greener horizons, transitioning from coal mining to wind and solar farming, greening urban spaces and cycling routes, promoting eco-tourism and restoring coastal and wetland areas. From experiential eco-friendly accommodation to sustainable gastronomy, Poles are beginning to come on board with environmentally friendly initiatives, expanding community engagement beyond the long-standing traditions of national parks and cultural preservation to sustainable tourism.
