This family friendly walkway along the Pakuranga Creek is good for prams, scooters and other means of transport for those young legs.
We saw different birds along the way and found the Weta Walkway which will prove a hit young families.

Hawthorne Dene Historic Country Cafe on Botany Road is a great place for lunch. On the Cascades end is Cascades Trading Post where you can find some unique giftware, homeware and some clothing. Close to the Howick Historical Village and Lloyd Elsmore Park you can extend your walk through to Pakuranga Road at Highland Park.
