A delectable NZ Angus beef patty with cheddar cheese, fried egg, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tomato chutney, finished with their secret-recipe aioli. There must be something pretty incredible in that secret sauce, because the burger is absolutely incredible!

The Corner, 143 Picton Street, HowickBack into Howick at The Corner, and we found two incredible burgers, their Chrispy Chicken burger which has crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar cheese and aioli. And their Kiwi burger featuring a juicy beef patty, bacon, caramelised onion, cheddar cheese and aioli. Both served with a side of fries. Check these two burgers out this Father’s Day for just $25 grab dad’s choice of tap beer and a Crispy Chicken, Kiwi Burger or Vege Burger. Delish!

The Franklin, 129 Beachlands Road, BeachlandsHightailing it back to Beachlands, we discovered The Franklin’s incredible range of burgers. Their Buffalo fried chicken burger was especially delicious with Buffalo fried chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese and dill mustard ranch. Their beer battered fish burger was a refreshing burger with iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickle and tartare. A special mention to their Franklin double smash beef burger which we don’t have a picture of, but do yourselves a favour and grab one of those! An absolutely to-die-for beef burger, with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, beetroot, onion, dill pickle, burger sauce. You’re welcome! Beef patties, with onion, gorgeous melted cheese, gherkins and a mouth-watering burger sauce. Well worth a visit! |
