Te Tuhi is our contemporary Art Gallery which is or significance to the NZ art world. Howick Village is home to Uxbridge Art and Culture Centre, The Art Lounge NZ Auckland, and The Howick Art Group at Green Gables supporting local artists and artisans.
Ormiston’s Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple holds larger exhibitions through the year. This building itself is a work of art, and its peaceful courtyard gives time for a moment of reflection.
Whitford’s Quay Gallery and Clevedon Village’s Art Industry and Clevedon Creatives showcase local arts and crafts. The end of January every year sees the Clevedon Art Trail and during July each year the East Auckland Art Trail showcasing art out East in all its forms.
